License Description: Boiler inspectors perform technical work in the inspection of boilers and unfired pressure vessels to ensure compliance with state safety laws and regulations.

Authorizing Statute: Code of Iowa, Chapter 89

Requirements for License:An applicant must hold a current work card issued by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and complete the application form.

Fees:
Application: $40
Duration: No more than one year
Renewal: $40
Exam: National Board Exam
